Goyral WhatsApp CRM ("we", "our", "us", or "the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension provided by Goyral. This Privacy Policy explains how Goyral WhatsApp CRM handles information when you use the Extension.

Goyral WhatsApp CRM is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc.

1. About Goyral WhatsApp CRM

Goyral WhatsApp CRM runs inside your own WhatsApp Web session and adds customer relationship features to it. Using the Extension you can organise contacts and groups, prepare contact lists, build broadcast campaigns, save and reuse message templates, set up auto reply and an AI chat assistant, run keyword based workflows with labels, and view campaign reports.

Messages are delivered through your own WhatsApp Web session. The Extension does not use the WhatsApp Business API and does not operate a separate messaging gateway of its own.

2. Information We Collect

Goyral WhatsApp CRM collects limited account information when a user creates an account or logs in to the Extension:

• Name
• Mobile phone number
• OTP verification information required for authentication
• A push notification token used to deliver account and extension messages

The mobile phone number is used to send a one-time password (OTP) and verify the user's account. We do not require users to provide a password through the Extension.

3. WhatsApp Content You Work With

The Extension reads the WhatsApp Web page that you are already signed in to, so that it can perform the actions you ask for. This may include:

• Contact names and phone numbers shown in your WhatsApp
• Group names and participants
• Chat and message content needed to send a message or to answer a chat
• Labels and chat status used by workflows
• Campaign, template, workflow, report and opt-out data you create yourself

This WhatsApp content is processed in your browser. It is not uploaded, collected or stored on Goyral's servers. Your WhatsApp login and session credentials stay inside WhatsApp and are never read, copied or transmitted by the Extension.

4. How We Use Personal Information

Name and mobile phone number collected during account login are used only for purposes related to the Extension, including:

• Creating and maintaining the user's account
• Authenticating the user's account
• Sending OTPs for login verification
• Checking licence validity and access to Extension features
• Delivering account, extension and update notifications
• Providing account-related support

We do not use this information for purposes unrelated to the Extension's disclosed functionality.

5. AI Chat Assistant and Your Own API Keys

The optional AI auto reply feature works only with API keys that you supply yourself. Your keys are kept locally in your browser and are sent only to the AI provider they belong to. Goyral does not receive, store or reuse them.

When the AI assistant is switched on, the message content it needs to answer, together with the business information you typed, is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you selected (for example Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, Cerebras or Mistral). That processing is governed by the privacy policy and terms of the provider you choose, and you can switch the feature off at any time.

6. Webhooks and Other Actions You Configure

Workflows can include a webhook step that sends data to a URL you set yourself. Any data sent to such a URL goes to the destination you configured, not to Goyral.

7. Files You Export

Contact lists, campaign reports and backups are exported as CSV, Excel or JSON files through Chrome's download facility. Those files are saved on your own device, and where you keep or share them is your decision.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade users' personal information.

We do not sell or transfer user data to advertising networks, data brokers, or other third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

The mobile phone number may be processed by service providers when necessary to deliver OTP authentication, push notifications or the requested account functionality. Such processing is limited to the service being provided.

9. No Sale of User Data

Goyral does not sell users' personal information. We do not use personal information collected through Goyral WhatsApp CRM for personalized or interest-based advertising.

10. Local Extension Data

Goyral WhatsApp CRM uses Chrome's storage functionality to save your contacts, groups, campaigns, message templates, workflows and their run history, campaign reports, opt-out list, auto reply settings, AI keys and other preferences locally in your browser.

This local extension data is not automatically uploaded to Goyral's servers. Removing the Extension or clearing its data removes it from your browser.

11. Permissions the Extension Uses

• Access to web.whatsapp.com - to show the CRM panels inside WhatsApp Web and to perform the actions you request.
• storage / unlimitedStorage - to keep your lists, campaigns, templates, workflows and settings in your browser.
• downloads - to save exported CSV, Excel and backup files to your device.
• notifications - so the Extension can raise account and extension status alerts in your browser.
• tabs - to open or focus your WhatsApp Web tab.
• GCM / messaging - to receive OTP, licence validity and extension messages.
• Access to goyral.com and goyral.co.in - only for account login, OTP delivery and licence validity checks.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Information transmitted between the Extension and our servers uses HTTPS where supported.

13. Data Retention

We retain account information such as the user's name and mobile number only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the account and related services, or as required by applicable law.

Users may contact Goyral to request deletion of their account and associated personal information.

14. Children's Privacy

Goyral WhatsApp CRM is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for purposes unrelated to providing the Extension's services.

15. Your Choices

You may stop using Goyral WhatsApp CRM or remove the Extension from Chrome at any time. You may switch the AI assistant off, clear your local extension data, or contact Goyral regarding your account information or request deletion of your personal information.

16. Your Responsibility Towards Your Contacts

Messages are sent from your own WhatsApp account, so you are responsible for the people you message. Please send only to contacts who expect to hear from you, honour opt-out requests, and respect WhatsApp's terms of service and the applicable laws of your country.

17. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Goyral WhatsApp CRM's use of information obtained through Chrome extension APIs is limited to providing the Extension's disclosed functionality. We do not sell user data or use it for personalized advertising.

We do not transfer user data to third parties except where necessary to provide the Extension's functionality, deliver OTP authentication, comply with applicable law, or protect the security of our services.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Goyral WhatsApp CRM, our services, or applicable requirements. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page.
